VOICE Change Techniques- sheet one

Dear students and viewers, It is a beginning post for changing voice (Active-Passive or Passive-Active) 

Here I have presented some techniques for changing voice easily. If you observe, you can be able to find something interesting that will help you to get free from monotonous ways of learning voice rules.

VOICE
Interchange of Active into passive vice-versa
Definition
Class division
 ক্রিয়ার প্রকাশ  ভঙ্গিকেই voice  বা বাচ্য বলে।
     Ex:
Act: Sumon Helps the boy.
pass: The boy is helped by sumon.
Note: Verb এর যে রূপ কার্য সম্পাদনে বাক্যে ব্যবহৃত Subject  এর নিস্ক্রিয়তা বা সক্রিয়তা প্রকাশ করে তাকে voice বলে।
v Voice দুই প্রকারঃ
01)Active voice- (কর্তৃবাচ্য)
02) passive voice- (কর্মবাচ্য)
(১) Active voice: verb এর কার্য সম্পাদনে subject যখন সক্রিয় ভূমিকা পালন করে তখন verb এর Active voice হয়।।
(০২) Passive voice: বাক্যের কার্য সম্পাদনে subject যখন নিস্ক্রিয় থাকে তখন verb এর passive voice হয়।।

Procedure (3 changes):   
Remark (2 addition)  
Active- passive:

 (a)Object turns into subject.

(b)Main verb turns into past participle form.

©Subject turns into object.
Note: পরিবর্তন দুই ধরনের- (১) Person এর অবস্থান পরিবর্তন ও (২) verb এর রূপের পরিবর্তন।।
§  Active-passive
(a)Extra ‘To be’-
[Am, is, are, was, were, be, being, been.]
Ex: I write a letter.
  =Rice is eaten by me.
(b)Preposition/agent
[By, to, with, for etc are verb liked.]
Ex: I write a letter.
  =Rice is eaten by me.
Procedure: (3 changes)
Remark  (2 deletion )
Passive-Active

(a)Object turns into subject.
 (b)Main verb turns into original tense  form.

 ©Subject turns into object.

Passive-Active
(a)Delete ‘to be’ which was added extra.
[Am, is, are, was, were, be, being, been.]
 (b)Delete agent/preposition which was added before object of passive voice.
[By, to, with, for etc.]
v Ex: Active: She wrote a letter.= passive: A letter was written by her.
v Passive: The book is read by him.= Active: He reads a book.
